I woudl love to help you research this for your area, but I'd have to know where that was. We have a few here I know. Feel free to IM me on yahoo at MOM2LAF or email at same @yahoo.com If you aren;t comfortable with that then call your local HRS office. They shoudl have a list of EVERY available program like that in your area.
EDIT~~
Daycare Assistance
Involves the disbursement of child day care funds to clients on an as-needed basis to allow them to participate in an employment-related activity. Client eligibility criteria are listed in the Glossary under "Day Care Assistance."
The Illinois Network of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies are under contract to IDHS to provide day care subsidy for income-eligible clients. The Network should be considered the first avenue of resource.

My mother in law has a Head Start daycare. It's a state funded daycare that's available for low income moms and dads. You should look at that.

I would go down to the health department and ask them for help because most of the time they have people who pay for daycare. Good Luck

Contact your local Health and Human Resources. They can put you in touch with agencies that help with daycare. But, there are income requirements. Also, check your local paper for those who are certified by the Health and Human resources, usually you can get help for that too.

Family and community services can help you with that sort of information. Churches offer daycare programmes that are affordable/Check with your local churches.

Go to the local child and family services ( or wherever you would apply for food stamps in your area) If you qualify they pay for part to all of your day care expenses and if you have family they will pay them as well. I baby sat for my sister in law for about a year. The state paid about 85% of it and then she had a co-pay, then when I stopped her grandparents began doing it, they just have to qualify through the state and sadly it is very easy to do so. ( I mean it is sad how easy they qualify babysitters with really no reasearch) Good luck
