I've never had allergies in my life. Than all of the sudden this morning I have a runny nose (just the right side though!), sneezing, and my sinuses fill like they are clogged. Its strange I can fill like a cold coming on usually and this hit me over night. Do I have allergies? If so why would it hit overnight?? Any ideas? Medications?

Yes, you can suddenly develop allergies. (I got mine suddenly in high school.)
However, it is equally likely that you just have a cold. You can have your doctor test for allergies. In the meantime, treat it like a cold. Extra fluids and rest never hurt anyone and over the counter cold medications will help with allergy symptoms as well.

It might be allergies, or it might be a cold. And yes, allergies have been known to start quite suddenly. One of my friends used to love strawberries, but when she ate some while visiting a friend's house, she very nearly went into anaphalactic shock. It might even be hay fever, if there is a lot of pollen in the air where you are. Try washing your pillow cases and see if you feel better.

Good luck!
