should i be talking to my ex at all?

i was with this guy for 4 months and we was cool and then things went out of hand. i start paying for stuff and he was talking to his best friend which was a girl and they still do. so i want an advice if i should take him back or still talk to him.

If you ask the question you know the answer. Whatever the reason you broke up for was, which you did not state explicitly. Then for sure it will happen again. If it was the "best friend" that will continue. Don't expect that to change. Though it should be you being the best friend.
