Fear of persecution. Many have been killed in the name of religion.

From what I've seen on this Webb sight many anti-religious people are ignorant, rude, ill informed, callous, uncaring and nasty. At least that's how many sound. I wouldn't like to meet them day or night and I certainly wouldn't give them my name. I suspect they believe that everyone is like them. I however, am not a Christian but non of the above, some of us are good guys or at least trying to be with out opting for a religion.

I think most Atheist are willing to speak there mind. Some of the rude and spiteful ones we see here on Y!A would probably curb there sniping face to face, that's true.

The worst thing I did was speak out publicly in high school. So I don't make that mistake anymore.

? I speak out about it all the time. Like just the other day I said the most blasphemous thing I ever have to my Mormon friend- I asked her if Jesus had 4 piercings, why was she only allowed to have one in each ear?
