More reason that the "Buddy Christ" figure from Dogma should be instituted as the new symbol of Jesus.

Jesus walked this earth and put himself through so much for us to be able bring us salvation through the crosses that we wear around our neck to symbolize his death, ressurection and our salvation. I think that if Jesus could put himself through the torment of ridicule and beatings, lashing and being pierced in the side, hung on a cross and dying for us without fear or a second thought of going through and doing God's will, I don't see how he would be scared of a necklace or a pendant that someone was wearing. He is the Almighty and I do not believe that he has anything to be scared or worried about but us down here making fools out of ourselves for lack of discipline to listen to truth.

No just mad, but it's sad thata non-Christian( I'm assuming your not) could figure that out long before mainstream Christianity did! I say it this way, if Jesus had been decapitated, would you wear a golden axe around your neck?

i have concept-about that before, really. He would have come to die for us even as there will be a a lot less painful in touch. And yet He chosen to die on the go. between the most brutal s in heritage. imagine that. could it means as a lot if He died peacefully? definite and no. definite because we will be forgiven. No because it does no longer be as large a sacrifice. yet definite, i think we would positioned on a small electric powered chair round our necks. It does no longer have as large a signifigance, in my opinion, although.

I understand wearing the cross but really, must it include a dying body as well? They have the same symbolism but isn't it going overboard in the direction of morbidity to have the body on it?

He knows our hearts, so for the most part, no.

He may not be to happy with the people doing sinful things while wearing a cross though.

Peace!

No, Jesus is not afraid of anything. I think what would bother Him more is looking into the hearts of men and seeing unbelief.
