Salvation from the New Testament view is effected when you believe on Jesus as Saviour and Lord, and confess it. All the other sins we do are not the deciding factor for salvation. Jesus died to pay the price for our sins, even ones we aren't sure are sins.

After you have believed, if you develop in your faith in the way which you should (and will feel unhappy if you don't once born again), the various sin issues in your life we be gradually ironed out. Appreciating that being gay is sinful is not a thing that is easy to recognise with current views on the matter in society in general, so it is an issue that gay christians probably don't deal with except if its making them feel (in themselves rather than because of others disapproval) bad about it.

No-one goes to heaven, since it doesn't exist, and there is nothing of you that can 'go' anywhere after you're dead.

Suppose you're at the beach and you make a nice big fancy sandcastle, complete with moat and turrets and so on. Later, the tide comes in and washes it all away - the sand gets spread around the beach and all trace of your sandcastle disappears.

Where did it go? Well, clearly the castle didn't 'go' anywhere as such - it was a temporary arrangement of grains of sand that went to make up something recognisable to us, and when the sea washed it away, it simply ceased to exist. Another day, someone else might come along and make another castle using some of the same sand that went into your castle, but the one you made is gone and can never exist again.

This is how it is with human beings - we are recognisable to ourselves and others as living organisms, but fundamentally we are temporary constructions of atoms and molecules and will one day simply cease to exist. Just as the sandcastle consists solely of the sand from which it is made, so human beings consist solely of the atoms and molecules of which they are made. When we die, our bodies will be returned to the environment to be incorporated into new living organisms, or to fall as rain, or to make the bedrock of a million years from now. We are ephemeral creatures, a brief pattern of order and complexity imposed on the raw material of the natural world. We should make the most of it, for this is all there is.

If gays are of a religious path that believes in Heaven, and if those homophobic Christians are full of it (which I hope they are), I certainly hope so. Being gay doesn't make you a bad person. Some of the best friends I've had are gay.

The Bible does not describe homosexuality as a “greater” sin than any other. All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible, God’s forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17

It is like this. Im not the judger of anyone. Not my job. I personally dont agree with homosexuality but i am never going to condemn someone cuz if it. I think the way some christians treat homosexuals is completely appaling. It doesnt show the compassion Jesus had. I think personally it goes against Gods plan but that is sins corruption and ur saved by faith not by deeds. Yet if u truly love christ you will do deeds. faith without deeds is dead. If you read Romans though Paul talks about he says me commited indecent acts with other men and recieved in themselfs due penalty for their perversain but I personally dont u know and if u follow Christ and Search for him open heartlly u will find the truth. the best place to look is the bible

Perhaps it would be more easy for gays go to heaven, than for most Christians to get there. After all, their God has more tolerance than the fanatics screaming out his name while hating the everyone who believes differently.

I'd say that if they don't let gay people into Heaven, then Heaven is pretty much going to Hell.

If they get their spirits Recreated. (Born-Again, Saved).
You cannot handle the Power of GOD on Planet Heaven unless you get Recreated.
Nobody can.
No matter who you are or what religion, club, how much money you have, or influence or mental clarity, intelligence, or how good so on and so on.
That spirit has to be recreated.
Jesus is the Only One Who can recreate it for you.
Jesus has to have your permission to recreate it.
Jesus gave you a freewill, and not even HE will go against your freewill.

All of this is True.
Without getting Born-Again, GOD Still Loves you, but you won't be able to Stay in Heaven (on Planet Heaven).

II Corinthians says it all comes down to where your heart is...

Only Gods knows peoples hearts...only God can answer that on an individual basis.

Gays will be in heaven just like many others...there will also be some gays in hells, along with Baptists, Catholics, etc...

I believe there will be former gays who repented of their adultery, asked Christ to forgive them and pay for their sins, and as a result of that will be in Heaven. Unrepentant gays will not be in Heaven, any more than unrepentant murderers and adulterers will be in Heaven. If that were to happen, Heaven would cease to be Heaven, but Hell.
