Jesus existed, unlike what the first poster, said. Some may have questioned his divineness, but he did definately without a doubt, exist.

According to the most recent studies by doctors in theology, Christ was born on the year 4 BC and died and rose from the dead in the year 29 CE.
Of course, that is their guess. Because, even when Jesus was a real person, there is no evidence of his birth and burial ground, except for what it is traditionally considered to be the stable where he allegedly was born and a tomb in Jerusalem where he allegedly was buried. There is no physical evidence of to point to those places as the true locations of birth and burial.
Maybe you should make a trip to Israel. Low season starts pretty soon.

The truth is, we simply don’t know the exact date of our Savior’s birth. In fact, we don’t even know for sure the year in which He was born. Scholars believe it was somewhere between 6 B.C. and 4 B.C. One thing is clear: if God felt it was important for us to know the exact date of the Savior’s birth, He certainly would have told us in His Word. The Gospel of Luke gives very specific details about the event, even down to what the baby was wearing – “swaddling clothes” - and where he slept – “in a manger” (Luke 2:12). These details are important because they speak of His nature and character, meek and lowly. But the exact date of His birth has no significance whatsoever, which may be why God chose not mention it

well apparently whoever worked out the calendar got it wrong...
so according to our calendars, Jesus was born about 4 B.C and since he was 33 when he died, technically he must have died in about 29 A.D. If we look at all that, then we are in April 2003, not April 2007... but I want to know who could be bothered to sit down and work out that we'd made a mistake.... oh and it says in the scriptures that his birthday was actually the 6th of April, instead of what a previous poster said, with it being today...
Oops, we missed his real birthday.... *embarrassed*

For information only. The first poster has been reported. There is no reasonable justification in any society for the use of his posting name. Notice, he won't allow you to e-mail or contact him. He hides behind his anonymity.
To answer your question, no exact date is known. Best guess is 8-2 BC and 29-36AD
