Can you cook pork neck bones, like you would cook oxtails and eat them with rice? I bought some the other day b/c I have not had any in awhile.

You can eat anything and make it tasty. But the reason oxtails are popular is because you can brown them and get a serious beefy taste.

Pork is not the same but if you add some beef stock it will be close. Brown the neck bones big time before adding them to te soup.

Pork neck bones are no different that eating ribs. Just because they are inexpensive doesnt mean anything. Great budget saver. Or you can eat cavier and mushrooms. Fish eggs and fungus. Oxtails are definitely not cheap. But like corn beef take minimum 4 hours to cook. Necks cook about 2 hours.
