She started drooling recently but I dont know why. She eats enough food and is acting normal if that helps.

unfortunately its age, some do this from about 12 years onwards, but take her for a check up if you are worried about her although if she eats ok then i wouldn't worry.

Possibly petite mal seizures. Does it seem to just go limp sometimes? This is not the sort of epileptic seizure popularized by media. If you feel it is in pain, put it to sleep. 14 is old, and the animal may be suffering needlessly. What is the cat's quality of life? They are intelligent andI doubt the cat is enjoying its situation.

14 years old thats an old cat let the old thing drool if and when you get that old you will drool too : )

She is most likely hyper-salivating and unless she had access to anything poisonous, it is non life threatening. Cats can do this because they are happy and content. Sometimes the cat will react to too much catnip....getting a bit more relaxed than they should.
