Because I just got contacts, and my face as a whole new look, I want a new do. So...right now, my hair is a few inches past waist length, about this long:
http://www.longhair.org/Slides/Emslide1.html
Except that's not me...my hair's stick straight and naturally blond. I spent four years growing it out. *Sigh But now I'm having trouble with it--it's causing me headaches, it won't wave around my face like it used to, and I have to put it up all the time. I want my hair to frame my face, so to speak. So I was thinking of three different styles: mid-back, curled and fluffy, like this:

Or side parted, like I have it now, and layered to mid-length with waves:

Or go for something short and curly:

So - should I keep my long hair, or go to one of these styles?

I like the mid-length, side parted style with some soft waves. It looks natural and will frame your face and bring attention to your eyes. Hope this helps.

i like the 2nd style. but you say your hair is straight and all of these styles are curly. it would be healthier for your hair to keep it natural and straight..i have wavy hair but i used to straighten and curl it all the time and its getting pretty dry..id recomend working with the blonde, straight hair you have that way it can be straight and healthry, rather than curling it which could eventually make it dry. id also look at styles that would be flattering for your face shape(http://www.visual-makeover.com/face.htm). also maybe you should try keeping it pretty long because i also have long hair but not as long, and i know it takes a while to grow it long so try going a bit shorter and later if you want a new style go even shorter. also, if you do want to go short you could get 10 or more (i think thats it) off and donate it to Locks for Love which i think makes whigs for children who have lost their hair(http://www.locksoflove.org/). i would go to the website to know more because you must tell your stylist so they know how to cut it in order for it to be donated. my sister grows her hair and cuts it short and donates it, then cuts it again. ive been growing mine and once its 10 inches below my shoulder i plan on doing the same. i hope this is somewhat helpful and good luck with your new look! and if you do choose one of those styles they are all great and youll look awesome! just take your time on making your decision and im sure youll love it!

If the length of your hair is causing you to experience headaches, I would seriously consider choosing a shorter & curlier style. It's easier to take care of, all the way around. Maybe you could go with long layers in the back & go with shorter layers everywhere else.

I really like the first choice, because it would be a change from your normal straight and long. Plus that look looks good on anyone! Good luck with your new hair cut! Hope you like your new look.

use side parted layered midlength WITHOUT curls or waves cuz the other stuff takes too long to style

all those hair styles are nice, only thing i would do is go a little longer...longer hair is gorgeous. so i think you should go a lil longer then mid back.
i envy u and ur long hair =( i wish mine was that long :)
