Ask "Have there ever been any wars fought in the name of Buddhism or the Buddha?" Most buddhists will say "NO". What about Zen and the Japanese in WWII. What role did Zen Buddhism play in the Second World War? Is Zen considered Buddhism by main stream Theravada and/or Mahayana buddhists?

I'm not sure what you are asking..does this interview pertain to Buddhism? Or is it acceptable to ask if someone is a Buddhist? (That would be a no.)
