You are really just asking to see if we are judgmental against the gay,
Blind freddy can see that!
I love both of them equally.
The straight bloke, if he died he would go to heaven,
but if he lived he may be able to help many who are destined for hell at the moment.
If the gay bloke died he would going to his eternal damnation,
Whereas if he lived, And was ministered the Truth, he would have a chance to find the Redeeming Blood of Jesus.
So I would save him.
What would you do?

That's tricky - well first I would ask them both a series of important questions such as
Why do YOU deserve to live?
How old are you?
Do you have a family?
Do you go to church often?
Do you live nearby?
Why were you on the train tracks in a compromising position with a gay/straight man?
Is this a situation you often find your self in?
IF i saved you - would I find you in the same damn situation on another train track anytime soon?
Whats your favorite color?
Why are you yelling?
Why are you crying?
and the like... and then I could be sure to make an informed decision and know I made the right choice.

Actually I'd pray and ask God which to save, but to answer purely on it's face I would save the gay one. The reason would be that I'd think there was a better chance that the straight one was not only a christian in his own mind was really heaven bound. In other words, I'd save the one I was most afraid was going to hell. But since the opposite of my opinion could be true, I'd ask God to show me which to save. This would also ensure I was making the best choice if both would go to the same place if they died.

First of all, why a gay man or a straight man?? What difference would that make? Secondly, why would it make any difference if they were Christians? You are making a mountain out of a molehill. Just do your best to save both, use your abilities to save both and stop thinking so much!

Their sexual preference, or their religion / lack of wouldn't be an issue! Anyway, I'm hardly going to interview them before I dive under the train....
Presumably, I wouldn't be aware that I could only save one, so I'd probably start with the person who it seemed easier to save, and there's no way that I wouldn't try to help the other one as well.
The minute you start weighing up age, personality, appearance, you're starting to make a judgement and 'playing God', so I'd like to think I'd just make the decision based on practicalities.
To aim this question at 'Christians' specifically seems to hint at trying to eke out prejudices or hypocrisies....... ??

The gay man, because the way your question is phrased the other man is not sinning but the gay man still is living in sin. Saving the gay man's life would give him more time to put on the nature of God and stop sinning which would cause the gay man loss of reward from God in heaven.
The answer is based solely upon the information given in the question and does not count any other circumstances which the question does not provide.

What I would like to know, is how "Pastor B" has determined that the Christian gay will not be going to heaven. Just because he/she is "gay" does not mean they are practicing, while the "straight" Christian, could be having two affairs. How judgemental...Help whomever is closest to you, and hopefully be able to help the other next. Regardless of Christian or not, the HUMANITARIAN way would be to help the person closest to you. And by the way, I am Christian.

Way to Go Maggie. I am not a Christian, but would think that if Christians really believe that Homosexuals aren't saved for eternity, shouldn't they give the Homosexual a chance to 'change his mind."
Not my belief, at all, but I would think if Christians are 'really' concerned with everyones eternal salvation, they should go with the sinner right?
In my case I would save the person who contributed most to society. Could be either person.

The one who had the highest worth in Society; if one was a doctor and the other a clerk, I would save the doctor.
If they are worth the same....
The younger one; he has the most life to live.
If they are the same age....
The nicer one; he'd be a better impact on the world, and would be more missed than the other.
If everything is exactly the same (highly unlikely)....
The straight one; he can contribute more children to the world, and they all have potential to be something great.

I will save the one that is more suitable to save. I will not ask them which one is gay or which is straight. The one that I save will be the right and lucky one.
