Does anyone know why HP Boot Optimizer says it needs to shut down after waking up pc from hybernation?

Occasionally when i bring my pc out of hybernate, It says "hp Boot Optimizer has encountered a problem and needs to shut down, sorry for the inconvenience" I just restart my pc just to make sure it doesn't cause an error although it doesn't seem to cause any problems. It's a brand new HP Pavillion, so I'm not sure why it says this. Any ideas how to correct it or what causes this?
