Questions like this imply that Jehovah's Witnesses are interested in becoming popular, but that is simply not true. The ONLY opinions of ongoing interest to a true Witness are those of Jehovah and Christ Jesus. Those who work to ingratiate themselves with some human or human group are not doing God's will.

(1 Thessalonians 2:4) We speak, as pleasing, not men, but God, who makes proof of our hearts.

(Matthew 6:20,21) Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Jehovah's Witnesses have the true religion. They are Christian (of course), but they are unique for their rejection of paganisms, use of God's personal name, and global preaching by every active adherent. No other religious organization can claim such purity of worship.

These facts about Jehovah's Witnesses are perhaps relevant to this question. The more one compares this Christian religion with others, the more remarkable it is shown to be.

1. Jehovah's Witnesses have no paid clergy. Yet they remain tightly organized with more than 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witness preachers (about 16 million associate themselves with the religion). Even fulltime preachers and workers at their branch offices are unpaid volunteers.

2. There is no elite class among Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the few 'anointed' among them enjoy no special privileges in their congregations on earth. An anointed person (one of those relative few with a heavenly hope) is not elevated above his fellow congregants in any way, and he may not even qualify for appointment as a simple 'deacon' or elder. There are no titles; EVERYONE is addressed as 'brother' or 'sister'.

3. No person benefits economically from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the 8 to 20 men who serve on their Governing Body receive simply room, board, medical care, and reimbursement for certain personal expenses according to the exact same provision as every other branch volunteer.

4. About a hundred men have served on Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body committee during the past 125 years or so. The vast majority of them have spent the vast majority of their adult lives volunteering for their organization's purposes, and the vast majority have died faithfully and near-pennilessly while still under their legal 'vow of poverty'.

5. Amazingly, Jehovah's Witnesses did not splinter as a sect from some other religion. Instead, a truly tiny but sincere group of bible students studied only the Scriptures to determine the will of God. Thus their religion remains absolutely independent of and not carrying the sins of Christendom's history, yet carries the authority of Christ's teachings.

6. Despite the distortions of anti-Witnesses, throughout their modern history Jehovah's Witnesses have refused to claim divine inspiration or infallibility for their teachings. They have pointed to the bible (and not any particular translation) as the only inspired infallible means of knowing God's thoughts. For over 125 years, their teachings have been presented as merely the results of sincere bible research by imperfect but godly humans.

Well as for me I've study for years and don't feel that they are the true religion. I feel that they have done away with all the Laws. Its say that if a person does not keep the commandments that their are lairs and the truth is not in them. They teach Sunday worship, did away with the Sabbath which in Heb.4: say that the Sabbath remains for his people. But then you will say that it is binding only to the Jews. Its also say that we are no longer Jew nor Gentile free nor bond Ga.3:28. Also the Messiah said that the one that keep the Law are his people, shown in Lu. 8:21. He can't be a Jew just for the Sabbath and a Christian for everything else. Also it is shown in Heb.10: that the Laws is a shadow of things to come, meaning a protection. If you look up shadow you will see it's a protection of the thing to come. The sacrificial lamb was done away with, the only law done away with. If you look at Isa. 65 & 66 an read all of it you will see what is for the new world. Isa. 65:4 it say that the pig is a foul animal and in Isa.66:17also say they eating it loathsome thing. Another law that is done away with. But if you keep reading you will see that in the new world they will keep the Sabbath and all who eat the pig will have thier end, how is this possible if the Law of unclean things are done away with. But also in Due.12:5 it say that he will choose the place where he would put his name and there you most go. His name is YHWH meaning Yahweh, thier is no J in the hebrew alphabet nor in the greek, so it is said hallelujah "HALLELUYAH" PRAISE YAHWEH seek the house of Yahweh. May Yahweh bless you understanding.

God knows your heart. I certainly do not. I will say that what you are in is of the Devil himself. The teachings deny the Bible. You can not take away from the 66 books of the Bible and you can not add to the 66 books of the Bible. For to do so is something I would not wish on any person.

I'm truly happy that you have found the path that is right for you. Honor your deity and follow your path to the best of your ability. Hold true to your convictions and don't worry about what other people think.

I would say this to anyone, regardless of what religious path (or non-religion) they believe in.

There is no true religion with all the answers. If you are happy in your beliefs that is wonderful for you, but to assume that it is what is best for everyone is arrogance.

Well you are reading the wrong bible girl. You have to believe in Jesus Christ. Without him you are lost!! Religion is nt the answer you need a personal relationship with God through Jesus.

". . .it is a blessing to know Jehovah and to have relationship with him."

I've never really understood the "imaginary friend" type of relationship: where he/she says only the words you give him/her. I was watching a 6 year-old play a game of pick-up-sticks with an imaginary friend last week. Guess who won? Yep, it was pretty funny!

I'm glad you are happy with your belief. From my personal experience, the JW's I've known (even related to) are not very good examples of decent people.

God Bless.

I'm glad you've found the answers you seek. Although, I think it is a bit arrogant for you or anyone else to say that their religion is the one true faith, since they are so many.

You are being deceived by a man invented cult inspired by the forces of evil... your so-called bible is NOT... but I am sure you have memorized all the "answers" you have been given by the cult leaders of the watch tower.... I have been of The True Christian Faith for 7 yrs... I am 60... I did not seek God... but He was there when I needed Him... I did not need any Bible, or man, or pastor, or priest...or doctrine or dogma of man's invention... it was just God and me... And I know, from God.... not from any teaching of man... that the teaching of the watch tower cult is false.
