Hello all;
I have a Samsung 40 inch LCD tv and I am looking for a good DVD player that can up-convert my regular DVDs. Bellow I have added a link to what TV I have. I currently have a HD DVD player that is the Xbox 360 add on. The DVD up-converson looks the same as before with that one. So if somebody could point me into the right direction for a good player. All inputs will be taken into great consideration. Thank you in advance for information.

Don't waste your money on upconverting DVD players.
Your TV has its own scaler (or upconverter) and it can do a pretty good job (if not better ).
Save your money and buy an HD or Blu-ray player instead.

Take a look at Oppo! It will just about every feature you will need along with upconverting, it just the best bang for the buck out there, very well reviewed and a excellent unit. I use one with my $6000 Home Theatre system and love it. It also comes with a HDMI cord which is worth $40
