Get your heart rate into a certain area for 30 minutes, 3 times a week.

It uses the fat stored as energy. Once that fat is used, its gone. The trick is not replacing it with more fat.

aerobic just means you breathe harder when you exercise. the best one is walking. swimming or biking or exercising to a tape or DVD at home are good, too. any rigorous movement that burns calories will help you lose weight. aerobics also put more oxygen into your blood to help your muscles work better.
