God made earwax so we can put bobby pins and other things we know we shouldn't in our ears, to get out the wax, thoroughly look at the disgusting stuff and then wipe it on a tissue.

My doctor told me that earwax is actually an oily sweat to help clean your ears and catch dirt that tries to get in there. For old people earwax is just an aggrivation as every year you get older there is more and more of it.
