I've recently started having a Slim Fast for lunch, partially because it's convenient because I have to be able to consume my lunch while driving from one house to another and partially because it's healthier than instant soup.

Is Slim Fast a healthy lunch? I usually have a cheese stick or some yogurt with it, but is this good for me or no?

I'm not really drinking it to lose weight, I just want something quick and healthy for lunch that doesn't need any prep time.

NO!!! SlimFast is LOADED with high fructose corn syrup, which is the father of all dietary evil. It causes weight gain, it raises your "bad" cholesterol, and it lowers your "good" cholesterol. Avoid SlimFast like the plague. Instant soup is a better choice. The best thing to do is to make yourself a lunch with healthy ingredients, like a sandwich with lean lunch meat on whole grain bread with some fresh fruits and veggies to accompany it. Yes, it takes time to prepare, but you're worth it, aren't you?

I think you'd be better off with a Yoplait light smoothie than a can of SlimFast, those are so processed, they can't be good for you. Add an apple or something fresh and a few walnuts if you're not filled up enough...
*Even though you've added that you're not trying to lose weight, eating something "light" these days is just being healthy, most products are loaded with high fructose corn syrup, like the answer below says, or other evils that no one needs, whether trying to lose weight or not...

That should be good.Eat a little something at least 5 times a day! Look at your metabolism like a fire.Throw a big log on it and it takes forever to burn-keep liitle branches coming all day and the fire burns bright! Small meals many times a day should help you.

I would suggest making your lunch and taking it with you.

instant soup is better than Slim Fast, which is nothing but water & sugar with a tiny bit of protein added to it. if you are serious about reducing body fat stay far away from Slim Fast shakes

I think that there is a lot of sugar in slim fast so perhaps you should look into other alternative for lunch.

I can't verify this because I haven't researched it myself at this time. But I have heard that SlimFast eats away your muscle, NOT FAT. Be careful and do some research first.
