I use the "Beer Machine" to brew 21 16 oz. servings and would like to bottle ten pints at a time.

Do I need to do anything to the beer to keep the carbonation up?

Bottling isn't particularly expensive. There are several types of cappers you can get. A supple of cheap bottles is nice but you limit yourself if you only want to use pint bottles. You might have to buy those from a supplier and they wont be very cheap. I haven't bottled beer in a number of years for several reasons. Mostly to do with amount of time cleaning bottles etc. I would check with older neighborhood bars and see if they save their non-twist off 12 oz. bottles and will let you have them I always did this and they didn't care a bit. If you keep you beer awhile, you'll notice some yeast sediment in the bottom of the bottle. It's OK, just don't shake up the bottle.

You can bottle with any returnable bottles (longnecks that you don't "twist" off), just make sure they're sanitized soak them in a much diluted bleach and rise well. Bottlecaps and a capper can be purchased at any home-brew supply store
