Why do they baptize for the dead? I would like to know the answers to the above questions myself.

You know, I have to ask myself, what answers are you looking for? It just seems like no matter what answers we give, you aren't going to be satisfied.
First, there is much more evidence for the Book of Mormon than you really want to admit. I will post a web site, that you probably won't go to.
Second, there is no place in the Bible that specifically says not to baptize for the dead. OTOH, there is a place where people DID baptize for the dead, and Paul did not say it was wrong. He merely asked why they did it, when they didn't believe in the resurrection.
And that's the truth. :-P

The doctrine of "baptism for the dead" is taught in the bible. It can be found here: 1 Corinthians 15:29. The apostle Paul, in teaching the saints in Corinth about the gospel, brings out several doctrinal points in this epsitlel, including the doctrine of baptisms for the dead. This doctrine exemplifies the compassion, the love, the equality of a compassionate God who would allow those of his children who have never had the opportunity to hear his Gosepl while living upon the earth, the change to hear it later on, after death. It does not seem fair that those living in remote parts of the world, who have never heard about Christ, to be damned for eternity just because of where they live, or the traditions and culture of their forefathers. God loves his children and allows all men, the same priviledge of hearing the Gospel. It can occur in life, or in death. After death, we go to "spirit paradise" where those who have not heard the gospel will get a chance to do so. This is the place the Christ referred to when he spoke to the theive hanging with him on the cross, Luke 23:43.
It surpises me to hear that you feel that there is no evidence of the Book of Mormon in the Americas. All of North, South and Central America are rife with archeological evidence of a people that built great civiliations.
And most interesting enough, the is a pre-Inca tradition passed down through the generations that the Americas were visited by a bearded "white God." Sounds very Book of Mormon-esque to me. The evidences are there, if you look with your eyes, and hear with your ears, as the Savior taught.

I still think your jealous. I'm happy! Why ask questions that are degrading? For what purpose do they pose? If there was evidence then what would faith be? We base our beliefs on faith. The Bible says lots of things that, the old testament for example had the law of moses then when Jesus came these things were elaborated more and changed. We believe times are changing thats why we perform baptisms for the dead. We do tell the truth.

You asked what is jealousy so I will answer that question. Jealousy is wanting what someone else has. Desiring the others possessions. Does that answer ...What is Jealousy? The rest of that drivel is just that. who really cares about that zealot stuff. I thought religion was supposed to be peace and kindness and it isn't so that is why now in my adulthood I stay far away from it because of people who argue and fight like you do, It turns people off.

I doubt very much you are trying to get any real answers here. All your questions contain some half-baked attempts at what you think or what someone else has told you about the LDS church.
