I know what you mean I have a eyebrow piercing, nose stud and cartilage piercings on my ears. It is a bit hard finding a job with all that because they have problems with my facial piercings. I'm lucky enough to have my job at subway. You would have to find an employer that would let you cover it up with a band aid when you're working or that wouldn't really care about it.

It doesn't close in a matter of seconds unless you just got it done yesterday or something. I've had mine done for about eight months and I can leave it out for a couple of days easy. To conceal it, simply get an "invisible" nose stud. It's clear and very, very hard for others to see.

You can try the clear plastic studs that have a small flat plastic head on them. they are barely noticeable. You would have to take your regular one out to put the other in though....maybe you should find a job that allows nose piercing, like a call center....just a thought.

I cant think of anything except a bandaid. That is a toughie. I know a lady who had one and it was not decorative but a religious marker. The place where she worked gave her an ultimatum. Either the nose ring goes or you go. She decided they were not worth it so she went.

it appears youve reached that age where its time to leave childinh things behind. sorry... welcome to the adult world. the nose stud might look nice. but if youre looking for any serious employment or high pay, youre going to have to say goodbye to your nose ring. if you like the idea of mcdonalds. take it out for the interview, and then shove it back in, and enjoy your crappy paycheck. your image goes a long way with your job, and if you present yourself as someone "trendy" they are not going to be interested. most companies want someone who is serious about themselves because that reflects them being serious about their jobs. unfortunately, the nose ring doesnt give that impression.

how long have you had it? do you properly clean it because it shouldn't hurt to remove! i would go to your local piercing shop because they usually have a retainer you can put in which is just clear so it's not even noticable or a lot of places carry tiny jewelry that is hardly noticable as well.
