I agree, Louisiana hot sauce certainly jazzes it up and is low in Calories. I went to a movie theater in Mexico once and they seasoned the popcorn w/ lime juice, salt, and cayenne pepper.. def a good taste.

You can buy something called Popcorn Salt...it's pretty good. And you can buy like powdered butter that is supposedly better for you, but I think it tastes gross!!!

If you're looking to be healthy, throw a little salt and olive oil on it.

If you're not so much in it for the healthy, melt 2 tablespoons butter, add garlic powder to taste, some oregano, and some red chili flakes (if you don't mind spice). Then toss the flavored butter on the popped corn and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. This may not be as healthy, but it's alot better than getting the bagged corn!!! And at least you know what you're putting into it!!!

Good Luck! :)

Since your air popping it you must care alot about the possible fat you don't want on it like the butter. Mix some lemon juice and salt in a spray bottle and lightly spray some of the popcorn at a time so it doesn't get all "slimey" and you can still anjoy it's crispyness. Later

My answer for everything popcorn related is clarified BUTTER (yes, butter--NOT margarine, sprays, diet spreads, etc., but the real deal), salt and a bunch of Tabasco sauce.

If you mentioned air popped specifically because you're watching calories/fat grams, I don't know how to help you. Anything other than butter that you melt (diet margarine, even reagular margarine) will make your popped kernels wilt and turn soggy (too much water in the margarine/spread). Parmesan cheese has fat in it and won't stick to dry popcorn.

Popcorn is a grain, so definite. We continuously cooked it the former style way. warmth up some vegetable oil in a saucepan and positioned the kernels in. Then shake it from side to side each and every a million minute or so till it starts popping. Vegetable oil is produced from vegetables, so vegetarians can use that to practice dinner their popcorn in. in case you want butter on your popcorn yet do not do dairy then use some sensible stability buttery spread .. that stuff is produced from one hundred% non-meat/animal elements, vegetables.

Caramel Popcorn Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. brown sugar
1 cube butter or margarine

1 can sweetened condensed milk
PREPARATION:
Bring to brown sugar, butter, and syrup to a boil; add 1 can sweetened condensed milk. I continue to cook for another couple of minutes, stirring constantly because it will burn easily. Pour over popcorn.

Sprinkle on some oregano for pizza popcorn. You can even add parmesan cheese for even more "jazz"!

My faves are Tobasco & dipping the popcorn in good 'ol yellow mustard. Sounds tedious, but it's really yummy.

A little bit of garlic salt instead of regular salt.
Or you can buy those shake on flavor things from the grocery store. They are made for popcorn.

Butter and salt, lol but that defeats the purpose. ;)
