Am I A Good Poet - I'm Only 14?
These are the two poems I wrote, I am a 14 year old student and just wanted everyones true and honest opinion. Thanks
1 TO MANY
He is gone , his soul still here but his body is no longer , why , because 1 to many people
1 too many people told him he was ugly
1 too many people told him no one cared
1 too many people told him he was stupid
If maybe just 1 person told him he was smart
We would have 1 more person still alive and well
AND THE OTHER ONE IS UNDER HERE
What is Love
The thing that makes us cry , or the thing we all want
Is it really all its cracked up to be
Because the same person that once gave me it
Also gave me the worst day of my life.
She said it was over , and I could of swore it just began .

WoW these or beautiful to say you only 14 years old i really do love these you should published you poems and i bet you will make a lot off money of them i will be the first one to buy them because I'm a big fan of poems i love them i have a lot of poems and i will not mind adding one more if you don't mind me adding your poems to my list and good job these really are some great poems but i love the first one butter because that is so true bullies have to stop you really are a good poet to say you just only 14 years old and i wish you the best of luck with your poems and Happy Easter love keionta.

You are a good poet because….. your poems represent true feelings, and you have touched many people with your words. This is a gift. Each time you recognize and open one of your gifts, you become a stronger person. Strength is built from within. Recognizing your strengths is empowerment. I think you are on to a good start. The important thing in poetry is the emotion. You bring that forward well in teh first poem. It is a bit more awkward in the second. bu ti would expect that for your age and level of experience in love at that age so it is fitting. keeping working with it. good luck!

You are very good for 14 but you have to work on your grammar, punctuation, and spelling if you want to be published. "It's One Too Many" and "could have sworn," not "could of swore." Keep up the good work.

Wow, those are great poems, but aren't jokes or riddles. You need to put it in a different category.

the first one has potential, it needs expanding, however the second one needs much much more...substance. good luck
