Trying to plug an ipod in through the back. Noticed the AUX button on the head unit and thought there might be a plug in.

The trim panel around the radio is just held in with pressure clips. Carefully pry or pull it off. Underneath, the radio is held in with screws.

I'll save you some time: there's no universal AUX input on the back of that radio. You'd have to purchase an adapter that will allow you to use Ford's plug for your iPod. I'm not able to track one down on the computer I'm using, but I'll link one later if possible.

Try the Install Docotor (intalldr.com). That website has easy to follow instructions for removing and installing car stereos, if your car is listed.
