I'd go for used. Exercise bikes are expensive. You find a lot of people buy them and never use them. Craigslist or local classified will help you find these.
And no, you don't have to ride EVERY day.

i've got considered smart motorcycles on your budget at each wearing products shop. In my section, we've a sequence noted as Play It returned activities that sells used activities equipment. They continually have exercising motorcycles in there. HTH

Check your local paper, people sell that kind of stuff all the time. Check yard sales too, your likely to find something for a good deal.

if you want cheap, you will get cheap
but it won't last
you need to spend at least a couple hundred bucks
and remember to ride it daily
otherwise don't bother
