i used to be in choir at least 4 or more years ago. now i am a dance major. a ladie freind of mine has asked me to sing a song with her. its from phantom of the opera. my voice fits but i am not good at all at remembering lyrics and am uncomfortable with singing in front of groups. i need the experience though.

just wondering what you all think i should do. i cant decide.

If you need the experience then do it. Try memorizing by rote. Read a line a few times, then close your eyes and say it. Check to make sure you had it right. Keep on repeating it till you got it down. Once you can say it with out any mistakes add the next line. Keep on adding lines till you got them all down.

The only way to conquer the fear is to face it head on. Do it.

Btw, work on your spelling/grammar. It is poll the audience not pole the audience. "Lady friend" is the correct spelling, and capitalize titles like Phantom of the Opera and proper nouns like "I".
