How many training camps does the Navy have? I know Air Force only has one, Lackland AFB in San Antonio, But where do Navy recrutes go??

Naval Recruit Training Center (NRTC) Great Lakes is the only boot camp for the Navy. They had one in Orlando and one in San Diego, but they closed down in the 90's.
After Boot Camp, many sailors go to various "A" schools for additional training, such as electronics. "A" schools are located at different bases. For instance, the school for sonar techs is in San Diego, Cryptologists in Pensacola FL, Master At Arms in Texas, Electronics Technicains in Great Lakes...and so on.

Hello,
I'm A NAVY Veteran and I tranied Great Lakes engineering systems schools. Its across the street from where the navy has its bootcamp. Also the navy has several other training schools across the country. GO NAVY!! As far as how many you would hae to go to there site. The Navy is the best thing that ever happened to me. I suggest that anyone joining go for Engineering!!

There is only one Navy Boot Camp in Great Lakes, IL which is north of Chicago on Lake Michigan.
Don't listen to the old guys here. They used to have multiple boot camps, but only the one I mentioned is still open.

RECRUIT Training only occurs at NRTC Great Lake, Illinois.
NRTC San Diego and Orlando closed in the 90's (I went thru Orlando).
There are other locations for A-schools and C-schools and other training... and can be found at the CNET (Chief, Naval Education and Training) website :https://www.cnet.navy.mil/index.asp
I went through NAS Pensacola, NAS Memphis, and NAS North Island for my initial training.
