To spread the gospel that will let everyone know that we can now come to him directly becasue Jesus broke the curse that Adam put on us by becoming the second Adam to redeem us from our kicked out of the garden status! So that we can have a relationship with him like Adam once did...Think about it man use to walk in the cool of the day with God! They were friends God the father! If satan can make us feel like God does not care or love us we will never try to come back to him from our fallen state. Jesus came that we will have a renewed mind about Gods intent and future and love for mankind. All we have to do is follow the law that Jesus left for us to make all men free men that they know the power of God within him that he always wanted us to have.

Maybe you're referring to Mark 16:15: And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Why did He say it? Because He wants you to tell the world about Him!

Because he knew humanity will want a savior. He knew that people will be thrown in chaos of life and will want a lifeboat. So, he told his apostles to tell all about him and about God. Jesus cared about people, and wanted them to be happy and live eternally with him.

He wants everyone to know about Him because He loves us all and He doesn't want anyone to go to hell. He says " I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one gets to the Father except through Me."

Jesus wants people to know of Him so, people who seek salvation may have it.

Note: Jesus wants you to tell only the people who WANT to listen.

Jesus never said, "Listen to me, I command it."

Jesus actually said, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."

This was Jesus' way of inviting people to listen to Him speak. Never did Jesus force people to listen. If we are to follow Him then, we are to follow His example also.
