Did anyone watch on the history channel, the banned from the bible shows. What did you think about the lillith, eve, and adam or solomon using demons under his control, with a ring of all things to build his temple. Who's to say what was writtings inspired by god, and those that are stories of man. When jesus said a greater man than solomon was here, when doing excercisims, does that mean this story was meant to be included?

God put in the Bible everything that was supposed to be in there. He didn't leave anything he wanted to out, and we are not suppose to add to it either. Those stories are just stories, if they were truth they would have been added to His word!

Emperor Constantine at the Councel of Nicea in 325 AD reduced the number of Gospels from around 80 to what you find in the bible today. There is more that was eliminated than there ever was in the bible.

It is amusing how people like KT htink that god wrote the bible. What did he do - get out a cosmic pen, put on radio 4 and start scribbling? No, the bible was written by men, picking and choosing bits which would support their ultimate aim which was to oppress the masses with fear.

Yes I watched it. It was very interesting.

I found one of the below answers to be really funny. Some people just dont want to look at reality. One response said that GOD put everything in the bible that was supposed to be there. But as we all know....the bible was not compiled by god himself. Man compiled the bible and chose the stories in it. Also man translated it. I mean that is just common sense. Of course the Bible was edited and certain stories were left out. DUH

I believe the stories that were told back then were more likely to be more true than today, because over the period of time the stories got diluted and misinterpreted. Remeber these stories took place over 2000 years ago.

Yes.

None of anything they mentioned was backed by notable scholars. Simply novelists and people who are just getting started.

Bunch of "let's suppose" and "this could very well be". No proves, nothing definitive.

I was very disappointed by the presentation. When do they ever invite a historical biblical scholar?

It's was so sub-par!
