I've been invited to a bridal shower and the bacheloret party. Do i have to take a gift for both? Is it expected?

Bring a regular gift to the bridal shower. You don't need to bring anything to the bachelorette party, but if you do it should be something fun, and probably racy - lingerie, adult toys, stuff like that.

No, not for the bachelorette party. Nobody really brings a gift for that, unless it's a funny gag gift from an adult party store or something like that. Gifts are given to the bride-to-be at the bridal shower only.

Not required but a funny gift would be nice and set the mood.
