I was just wondering because im a mexican-american and i am really attracted to black guys but my cousins think that is weird... is there anything weird about that?

Hmmm... not weird really... but its not gonna be really accepted. I know cause i'm mexican-american, and my other family members dont really like it when they're daughters date outside there race. But i dunno. Just remember to take into consideration the type of guys you wanna date and focus on their character primarily.

Your cousins should just mind their own business. It's not weird at all that you are attracted to Black guys...it's personal taste. Oh, and I'm sure a lot of Black guys are happy to hear you say this. LOL.

You are not weird, is just that your cousin is a racist. Besides most of Latinos are mixed races of Spaniards, Native Americans and Blacks so they have more in common with Black people than with the White people. Remember JLo and Puff Daddy, Luis Miguel and Marya Carey.

I think it's weird for anyone to be attracted to anyone simply because of their nationality or race. Do you think that all people of one race or another are the same? That all black guys would be equally the kind of person that you would want to spend time with, simply because of their skin color?

hi there no it's a whole new world for us now you can date whom ever you want it's that our mother and father have issues with the old days . In which we were not allow to do certain things or even talk to a boy unless married with who ever it please them. Spanish people from what ever culture you are from till till this day keep certain rules but you are whom you are . We Latin culture come from different types of people from Spain to Africa we are a mix culture and still mixing our blood among the human race and we should be proud not only to speak it but to be in it . and teach our children not to hate but to love all race and nationality nothing weird it's just how the human race is taught by different cultures in getting to know one another . be well be safe
it's not in the color of the skin but the heart of that person to love . In my family we have both cause it goes way back to our fathers and their father and mother's and their mothers it goes back to eve and Adam . long live our cultures

No. Why would you think that. The only weird thing is the racial undertones to be found in such an idea. If the gentleman in is cool, and you think that he is right for you, go for it. Take heed to what your family has to say, but make up your own mind.

Its not wierd, take it from me a black girl who everywhere she looks there are black guys with white girls, I'd rather a balck guy hook up with a latina anyway.More power to you.
