We speak heaps and i really feel for her but im not sure what to do because she lives so far away. I wouldn't be that bothered but we just really click. Any suggestions please

Long distance relationships don't work well.

If one of you isn't willing to relocate, you are just setting yourself (and maybe her) up for heart ache.

Have you ever heard that true love conquers all. Well I don't think that distance would come in the way if you all were to truely fall in love. However, before you set yourself up for heart break you have to look at the situation for what it is. You already know each other fairly well and you know that like every relationship there is a certain part of compromise. In this case you will have to figure out who is willing to move in the chance that the two of you decide to spend the rest of your lives together. If the compromise seems to be too great for either party, you shouldn't walk away from this person, you don't want to lose what I can only assume is a pretty good friendship so tread carefully. Just talk to her. If she (and you for that matter) are willing to put forth the effort and sacrifices that it takes to make the relationship work then I wish you the best of luck in the future. Just remember, say if 1 in 100 long distance relationships work, why can't you be the 1?

My friend,

I would tell you to stick to it.i almost have the same situation. and just yesterday we had our second year anniversary. she lives in canada and i live in Oman, that is way too far away.and guess what ? we are getting married this August. we have known each other for more than 5 years, and we were never in the same place together for more than 15 days.

If your mind and heart tells you to go for a relationship, you go for it.

but note: It is Hard.

From people who have tried, long distance relationships rarely work. Someone would have to move.

Wake up, that never works, she is not going to wait for you and you are not going to wait for her. You had your chance and you did nothing, now you feel like loser but it's too late to do something about it; Let it go if you don't want to waste your life dreaming.
