Athlete's foot is a micosis, otherwise known as a fungal infection. The vinegar is a diluted solution of acetic acid (9%) which helps in destroying the fungus.

I don't know about that but vinegar is good for killing germs. I use it for cleaning-especially my bird cages because it is safe. I wash chickens and other meat to help get rid of germs. I use a 50/50 solution to clean my ears and my animals ears. It kills the yeast infections. So I assume it will kill the germs involved in athlete's foot.

Because vinegar kills fungus and that is what athletes foot is.

it kills the fungus that it growing on your feet and its much better then taking pills that have harmful chemicals....
