Ballistic evidence.

Just about all the answers given are on point. Specifically though, the portion that is actually fired through the barrel of the weapon is called the bullet or projectile. If it's broken into pieces those are referred to as bullet or projectile fragments. The portion of the cartridge that contained the primer and powder is called the cartridge casing. All these along with the associated trace evidence (gunpowder residue), any points of impact or indicators of trajectory are called ballistic evidence.

The remains? I'm not sure this is what you're looking for. left in the cylinder or breach (if not ejected) is the casing.
The powder burns (say on skin if a close contact shot) is called "stippling". The bullet...is just that. A bullet...or slug or sometimes the bullet breaks apart. Then you have lead fragments and sometimes jacketing if the bullet had such.

That help any?

Bullet fragment... I think

I guess it depends on which part your talking about. The casing is ejected from the gun after it is fired while the actual bullet hit whatever the gun is aimed at. Since you said remains of the actual bullet then that would be the bullet fragment; if that's what its called, there may be a more specific name for it.
