I'm pregnant and eating LOTS of apples! I'm currently in love with Golden Delicious. What are some other good varieties of apple?

I digress. Dude, Golden Delicious are the BEST! They are soooo yummy. You might want to try Fuji. They are also good. Not as soft as the GD, but they have the same type of juice and sweetness. I am also fond of McIntosh. I'm not sure if that's a regional thing or not. They are also quite good - little reds ones that are good for baking (and eating). You might not see those until fall, though.

Golden Delicious is my favorite - especially bought from a grower and not the grocery store. Galas are also good.
