churches that don't mind AND don't care who attends.
Do you go for worship--or comparison?
When you seek God, He will GIVE you a mate--when you LEAST EPECT IT and when you QUIT LOOKING.
ESPECIALLY at everybody else.
Don't EVER COMPARE YOURSELF.

Plenty of churches have middle aged divorced or still single people as members. There's no certain "kind". I think if your not seeing any, it's because your being paranoid that people are thinking less of you for being in one of these situations? Not true in most churches. :)

How many churches do you attend on a regular basis? It is all based on your perspective. If you attend a predominantly white, middle class christian church in suburbia, of course you are going to see families. Go to alabama and attend services at a AME church then you can wonder if the only people who attend church there are black and sing. Your question is moot.

I am Catholic and know the Church I am a member of has divorced, middle-aged people in it. They have to adhere to certain rules after they are divorced but not forbidden from attending Church.

Actually whenever I go to a Church I notice a lot. I also notice a lot of young single mothers. It seems especialy common in baptist congregations. Single mothers seem to be more common than usual in the Adventists, but this is just from my observations and it might be different where you are.

OK,If this world was perfect every one would be perfect.Jesus would preach to the ones who were in need right? Aren't the ones who are in need the ones who are the ones with the greatest sin? Single parents, adulterers ,etc.but they are seekers none the less or they would not be there. Why would you not want them in church? How can they repent their miss deeds if they don't know what they are?He who is without sin let him cast the first stone.Keep looking and praying you will find a church home right for you.

You would be surprised. Most of the Christian churches have divorced, single, remarried and widowed in them. Try a non denominational church.
