Here's a great recipe for tartar sauce.
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon minced onion
2 tablespoons lemon juice (optional)
salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, and minced onion. Stir in lemon juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Note: It's good even serving right after making. Enjoy!

1 cup mayonaise
2 T fresh taragon
2 T capers
1 T fresh lemon juice
1 clove minced garlic

This is the best tartar sauce. That fresh taragon is amazing. For a little variation, try adding 1-2 T of roasted red pepper, minced.

Mayo and a couple of spoons of sweet pickle relish. Black pepper if you would like it. I also get the little fresh cucumbers and grate it, then drain it a bit and that is also a really good tartar sauce.

1/2 cup mayo, 2 tblspoons diced dill pickles, 2 tablespoons diced onion. Stir up and chill. You can also omit pickles and add fresh dill instead. Throw out the next day if you don't eat it all.
