I have to vote top Blues Clues. It's much more geared towards a toddler. Sesame street is great but, really the only segment that totally geared to toddler's is Elmo's world. Elmo is great and kids love him but, I find Blue to be just as lovable and the show seems to be much more interactive.

My 3.5 year old loves Little Einsteins and the Backyardigans. They are not only educational but fun AND are tolerable for adults to watch or listen too. My 1 year old likes to dance to the music of both and them watching 30 mins to an hour is not something that I feel guilty about (although the little one looses interest after 5 minutes). Watch a few shows with your children and see if it is right for you. We don't watch the wonder pets anymore because one of the characters has a lisp (my daughter was mispronouncing words) and sponge bob because they say "shut up".

I go for DVD's so I can control what is seen-I like HBO's Classical Baby. Also Baby Einstein has one for sign language. And we like things we can dance to so we have a Wiggles DVD. I have two Elmo DVD's (cooking and potty time). I go for stuff we can enjoy together. But as he gets older I will work with him on educational stuff and he goes to a great day care-I would prefer to leave educating to actual people and not cartoons.

Sesame street, hands down. I have 2 and 3 year old boys who can both count to 20 and say their ABCs and I owe it all to that show. I wish I could say I tought them myself, but its the show. Its educational, and they really enjoy watching it. Also, anything on the Noggin channel. Most allof their shows and their little shows between shows, all have some kind of lesson involved.

Anything at all on Noggin & Nick Jr. For my two boys, they love Max & Ruby, Pinky Dinky Doo, Little Bear, and Wow Wow Wubbzy.

I love Noggin because all their shows are entertaining and they all focus on a different educational concept. They even tell you what they are teaching at the start of every show. Pinky teaches about imagination, and language skills, Little Bear teaches great stories on friendship, they are all just wonderful shows.

my children love Dora. ( both ages!! 2 and 6)
she like to count and play along with her
and while she does that she is learning, and
she might pick up a few spanish words along the
way. Other shows like Blues Clues and Seasame St. and Mickey Mouse clubhouse are also good. Anything that they can learn from, and have fun.
(they are on nick jr. and disney channel or 24 and 25.)
