I was recently at a baby shower when I had the most fantastic desert. I tried looking for the recipe and can't find it anywhere. I asked where this woman got the recipe and she said off a vanilla cake mix but she didn't know it off the top of her head. Its been two weeks and still haven't heard back.

It has rolled oats, vanilla cake mix, coconut, chocolate chips. Those are the ingrediants I could taste. IF anyone has this recipe please give it to me.....Thanks in advance.

Could this possibly be it??? Sounds wonderful. Let me know.

a Pillsbury Bake-Off Winner
French Coconut Pecan Bars

3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 pkg. Pillsbury® French Vanilla cake mix; reserve 3 tbl. for topping
1 egg
2 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
1 can Pillsbury Coconut Pecan Frosting
12 oz. pkg. (2 cups) chocolate chip
1/2 cup pecans

Preheat oven to 350. Spray 10x15 pan with cooking spray, or spread with butter/margarine.

In large bowl, combine butter and cake mix, mixing well. Add egg and stir in oats. Press 2/3 of this in bottom of pan, about 2 1/2 cups.

Microwave the frosting on high for 1 minute. Add the reserve 3 tbl. cake mix and stir until large lumps disappear.

Drizzle half the frosting mixture over cake in pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans. Drizzle with remaining frosting mix. Crumble the remaining cake mixture on top.

Bake at 350 for 25-30 min (until top is golden brown and edges are bubbly). Cool completely. Makes 48 bars
