Of course but that doesn't mean that torture is ok or even would yield accurate information. I am not a terrorist. I do not have information. I would lie. I would lie if I was tortured to get them to stop. Torture is wrong. America no longer tortures. It's a crime against humanity that we ever did. There is a such thing as a pain scale. We all have different pain thresholds. Depending on the stimulant, it depends on my reaction. I could not handle feeling like I would be drowning. I am a little asthmatic so breathing is a little difficult for me at times. Slamming into a wall or something - bumps - not too much. I bump and slam into stuff often so I have a high tolerance. I work out regularly so I'm used to being uncomfortable. I would not give out accurate information to my enemies and people that want to hurt me or my friends.

I am not sure about UCLA but I can see it being that it is a state college and it is in California.

The college that everyone needs to really worry about besides Berkeley is UC Davis. That city is a little Berkeley. They had their police chief resign because he wasn't allowed to fight crime with proven methods. At every turn the city counsel and the residents were all over him for being too harsh with criminals.
