You would have a country that is unable to field a strong military, with a divided people who have been unable to come together as a country. They would be sitting on billions in oil with no way to defend it. They would be surrounded by other nations who would want it. A war between these nations would erupt and the Iraqi people would be caught in the middle. By the time the wars between the neighboring nations finished, little would be left of the Iraqi people or their culture. All the anti-war activists would get off their high horse and realize they led us into this follie. However, they would blame Bush and scream for the UN to make him send us back to end the slaughter. But by then it would be too late, and Iraq would be divided up between the strongest nations.

Iran would take over Iraq. They would unite the radical Muslims and wage war on the west. There would be more death and destruction in our own back yard and abroad. The guy that claims a Kennedy type of president would bring piece needs to remember that the Vietnam war was started by Kennedy and his democratic partner Johnson.

Peace, that is hilarious! If only the US would leave everyone in Iraq would crawl into bed together and become pals - what delusion some of these people live in?
Us would leave, stronger, radical faction would take back over - Iran would be provoked again and test their nuke capabilities out on Iraq.
I say leave to let them slaughter each other as they always have and always will - not to cut and run like liberal idiots preach. After we leave and the US is hit again what will be the liberal agenda then?

In addition to Iran and Syria rushing in to capture and hold parts of Iraq killing every Iraqi in there why?
It sure would pi** of every potential Democratic Presidential nominee. Why? That is the 1st action each place to do if the are elected President......cut and run!

We'd have troops here at home to protect our borders. Iraq would have to fend for itself and we would not be sending our best young men and women into a battle that is not about anything righteous but about politics, money and oil. The real threat is, has been and always will be here on American soil where 19 illegal immigrants attacked our country on 9/11/01 and where middle eastern organizations are buying up our businesses (Dow Chemical -- the latest) and our businesses are being outsourced in the hopes of ensuring that the US will not be able to re-tool in case of an attack and we will not be able to purchase any goods because we'll be dependent upon China and other countries for our computer chips, our clothes, etc. Believe me, the ability to be self sufficient and have your own manufacturing on your own soil is the only thing that will save us from a takeover and enslavement by other countries. The fact that we were able to remanufacture and rebuild our weapons and materials faster than the enemy could destroy them was the only reason we were victorious in WWII. Those who don't remember the past are destined to repeat it. In this case, those who don't understand the importance of being able to be self-sufficient and who don't control their borders and keep their important secrets are likely to be taken over by those countries, organized crime, businesses, gangs, and others who remember.

Many many things would happen. The insurgents would step up their murdering, Many more innocent people would be killed. Iran would move in and try to take over Iraq, etc., etc., and thousands of American soldiers would be put out of work that they signed up to do.

Lol, you people are foolish to believe that peace would insue after our withdrawl..
Just to prove a point,we should withdrawl, and then after the first million are slaughtered maybe THEN the democarts will stop living in their fantasy worl that the middle east has been at peace untill we got there and how Sadaam was the best leader ever.

Iraq violence will cease and rape will also stop there would be a better chance for peace in Iraq plus their oil would stay were it belongs (U.S. started the violence with the Iraqi and have started the violence between the Iraqi people) there is still a possibility for violence since the American dogs started it all ready!
