This is a great question!!
Jesus said who He came for. He was specific.
If you feel that you aren't missing anything, then you aren't ready for Him. Nobody could convince you that you were missing anything if you don't think you are.
But you will be.
There will be something obvious missing. You'll see.

You are missing accountability for your actions, which many are probably more avoiding than missing.
You are missing the knowledge that someone bigger and more powerful than a mere human is on your side when times are rough and you know you can't get through on your own. Men are pretty weak in the grand scheme of things. If you've ever felt completely empty and alone, you know there's something missing. That's God that's missing.
You are missing the chance to spend eternity in Heaven rather than hell. You don't have to be a believer; those are going to be your choices. And not the cartoon with a little fire and a cute guy in red pajamas.
Personally, I'd rather live as if there's a God and die to find out I was wrong than not believe and die to find out I was wrong.

You are missing the peace that you can only get from having a relationship with God. When God lives in your heart, then you have a peace of mind that is constant, that no matter what comes your way, all will be okay because God will see you through it and help you. Everyone is wired to need God, whether they realize it or not. Many times people are searching for happiness, and then when they find it, they feel empty inside because after they get what they want, it no longer satisfies. It's kind of like a candy bar. You crave it, have to have it, you savor it while eating it, and then about an hour later, you are hungry again. Many wealthy people who have failed marriages or unhappy lives (look at many celebrities for instance - i.e., Britney Spears, Michael Jackson), spend their money on material things and they pursue surface-level relationships because they are looking for happiness. Once they get it, the excitement wears off and they are looking for more. When a person has God in their heart, that empty feeling is gone. A person has a satisfaction and joy in their life no matter WHAT they are doing or what their status in life may be. That's what is missing. Don't listen to the person who said a person is missing "gullibility". That person would not feel that way if they were content with themself. That was a hostile thing for them to say. If one is truly happy, then why be hostile? See what I mean?

You are missing God.
It makes a big difference - even if you don't realize you are missing it (Him).
Maybe it is like having a child. I did not know what I was missing until I had a child - but now I realize that it is a gift, and if my children were taken away, then I would certainly realize what I had.
We don't understand what something is until we have it. That's why you don't miss it. It is kind of a silly way to phrase it.

It may not feel like your missing anything now because at the moment you are doing all that your flesh desires and wants. You do whatever you want whenever you please because your body wants you to. But there comes a point where that becomes routine, worn out, and tired and it does not fulfill you anymore. If you look at people in the world who have achieved the pinnacle of success. When the reach a great goal, it seems great for the moment, but then they are not happy and keep looking for something else to fulfill them, but they can't find it. Like Michael Jordan, he won all those NBA titles, then went to baseball, golf and other things. He accoplished alot of things, but you can see that he is not happy. He is searching for something, but he is trying to use the world to fulfill it. He can only be fulfilled when God is top in his life.

The only thing you're "missing" is "not believing in God". Most religions use the name of God until it sounds so commercial. What these jackasses mean when they say you're missing something is "salvation", which translates into "you're gonna burn in hell when you die".
God isn't commerical, so when you finally decide to find a religion, or believe in any god, decide for yourself what you were missing back then when you had nothing to believe in.

You are missing that spiritual nourishment.
Matthew 5:3 states: “Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need, since the kingdom of the heavens belongs to them."
When you receive spiritual food, or encouragement, you become a happier person. You feel you have a purpose.

You miss the chance to have a fulfilled, joyful, happy, totally content life.
Yes, you are missing it you don't have peace when your storms arise, when you have problems, and when you meet dead-ends in your life, or if you feel like you are in a rut, or "just surviving".
God is everything! He answers prayer, if you ask--believing.
And if you have asked Jesus into your heart.
ASK YOURSELF: Does it make any difference to ME if I don't have absolute peace in my life---NO MATTER what is going on in my life?
(I hope it matters)

You're not missing anything.... that's just what the believers tell you to make them feel like they're better than you because they've got something you do not. Like the kid in school who always has to show off his expensive toys during show & tell in class to try to make the other kids jealous.
The truth is they are the ones who are missing something & they use their fairytale "god(s)" to fill the gap in their lives.

When God is in control, nothing can bother you. When you think you are in control, everything can bother you.
Without God, peace of mind is what you are missing!
