I say live and let live. Not everybody approves of their work, but if they provide an outlet to stop potential future rapists etc, then good on them. Porn stars don't do any harm, and if they encourage more and more people to be 'body confident' rather than 'body critical' them good on them again.
As for being poor role models - as one responder says: they are located in wrapped magazines and DVD cases, on the top shelves of covert shops, in well-demarcated areas. Hardly mainstream 'bad examples' are they? If people disapprove, then they don't have to go to red light districts or buy blue movies. We all have a choice.

Porn stars are prostitutes. They get paid to have sex with strangers. They are not role models!

they are only doing there job, just like a computer technichian does his/her job. it pays the bills and puts food on the table so i approve of them

Everyone one is entitled to their own opinion. I dont know of any but if thats what they like to do then thats fine.

They serve a need for certian sections of our society, can't say I would marry one. Saying that they probably wouldn't marry me either.....
