Until he is 6 months old he should be fed 3x daily. A growing pup's stomach is not large enough to hold all (or even half) of his daily nutritional needs at a time.
Be sure and use a premium quality food (I suggest Canidae - it contains no corn or wheat gluten, and is for all life stages)
Check the bag for his weight category and divide the daily amount into thirds.
Provide plenty of fresh water always.

It all depends on her weight. It will tell you on the packet how much you should feed her according to her weight.. At 8 weeks she should weigh aboiut 9/10 kilos so check on the bag how much you should be giving a Golden Retriever of this weight. Don't forget to keep increasing the amount as she grows. Goldens have a tremendous growth spurt between the gage of 4 - 7 months and at that time they will need about 900 gms. per day, divided into three meals of 300 gms. When they reach 6 months you can give her two meals per day, i.e. the same amount divided into two. My two Golden pups are now 4 months old and they are going through a very leggy stage. They have three meals per day at present,. I would say what you are giving her is not really enough for a growing puppy. I feed Science Plan and according to the Bag she should be having twice the amount you are feeding her at present. She will always leave what she doesn't want. You could soak her food initially until her teeth come through. Then they like the 'crunch'. Good luck and enjoy your pup.

As a Golden breeder I always gave all my clients a sheet on how to feed and house train my pups. For your pup it should be fed 3 times a day of about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of large breed puppy food. The dry food should be moistened with warm water just enough to swell the kibble and make it easier for the pup to chew. Shortly after feeding about 10 minutes take the pup out side to go potty. Your pup is very young so their day will consist of eating going potty playing and mostly sleeping.

Usually with little ones, you feed them 3 times per day. Morning, Noon & Evening.
How much depends on the type of food you're using. Look on the bag - There should be a weight chart that corresponds to cups per day. Divide that by 3. When the puppy gets a little older, you can divide by 2 and feed it morning and night.

Doesn't matter how many times, so long as you're measuring out the correct daily amount of puppy food and dividing this up. Many dogs are fed twice or three times daily - many do OK on just once tho.

Three times a day probably until about 12 - 16 weeks when you can likely cut back to two times a day.

Probaly two times per day, but I would suggest asking your vet and checking the dog food you give him. Make sure you are using a natural dog food, because the Eukanuba and a bunch of other dog foods are being recalled right now. Also, make sure you take him outside about ten minutes after you feed him. The number of times you feed him depends on how active he is and how much dog food he gets.
