I drink a lot of water every day. But I have to put a few slices of lemon in the cup or squirt in a little bit of lemon juice. How good is this for me? If I don't add lemon I find that I drink not even half the amount of water as I do with the lemon? So is it worth that little bit of lemon in my water, just to keep me drinking that good old H2O?

Lemon isn't going to harm you. It really doesn't add any calories that would be noticeable, and if it makes you drink that much more water, then it's a good thing. It's much better than drinking soda or flavoring your water with those flavor packets they sell nowadays. At least lemon's natural.

The amount of lemon you are using is fine. An excessive amount can damage the enamel of your teeth. If this worries you drink through a straw. Keep drinking that water!

It brings some flavor to the water. If you like the flavor...you will tend to drink more water...and, that is where the ' good ' part comes in...you're drinking more water.

you will have to be careful that you don't put too much lemon in the water. lemon is full of citric acid and it will demineralize your teeth.
