I think ancient superstitious fantasies from psychologically-impaired "prophets" who lived thousands of years ago don't have any predictive value and are meaningless.
I think every generation since these fantasies were written down has tried desperately to fit the "prophecies" to their own times -- since they're so open-ended and general, it's fairly easy to do. It's like horoscopes: they're worded so you can apply them to lots of situations, making them *seem* predictive -- but they're not.
And I think Bush is a lying, cheating, war-mongering, ignorant, idiotic jerk. But that has nothing to do with bible "prophecies..." Nixon was also a lying, cheating, ignorant, idiotic jerk. It's just people desperate for power, which drives them to be horrible people -- that's been around as long as there have been people. Doesn't take a genius or divine inspiration to predict that power-hungry idiots will occasionally be leaders of countries.
Peace.

Obviously your not reading your Bible and you are being lead by the opinions of others. The Beast (Anti-Christ) will come and rein from the middle east. Besides President Bush is a Bible Believing, God fearing man and hes been a Christian for a long time. Christians cannot be possessed by the devil.

The Book of Revelations where the reference to the Beast is found is not a book to be taken literally. To this day, no one knows what the author is talking about. There are just too many symbols in it to decipher it. Most orthodox churches have told people to not even read it since it can not be understood and might give people bad ideas.

People have said that about every day and age, and about many people. People have also claimed the end times since the death of Jesus. I would have to say it is as true now as it was then, which is to say; not at all.

No as much as bush is an idiot he isn't anything thats referred to in the bible. The bible was referring to someone else. Revelations wasn't intended to represent the future but events that were going on back 2000 years ago. Any biblical Scholar will tell you that.

I don't agree with that idea for a number of reasons, but Mick LaSalle of http://www.micklasalle.com/ has written a book (a chapter a week is available online) which is about a radical right president who IS the Antichrist.
I'm afraid I agree with him- if the Rapture came today, most of the fundamentalist tv preacher types would be the ones left behind.
