God demands that you worship ONLY HIM! Not Jesus. Need proof?
Jesus in John 14:12 & Mark 16:17-18 said: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth in me, the works that I do shall he also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." This implies that Jesus’ true followers should be able to routinely heal the sick and move mountains, something that no one living can do today or yesterday.
(Deuteronomy 18:20-22) But any prophet who claims to give a message from another god or who falsely claims to speak for me must die.' You may wonder, 'How will we know whether the prophecy is from the LORD or not?' If the prophet predicts something in the LORD's name and it does not happen, the LORD did not give the message. That prophet has spoken on his own and need not be feared.
By biblical standards, Jesus is a false prophet. Therefore christianity is null and void. WHAT IS YOUR EXCUSE FOR DISOBEYING GOD!!! O YE FAITHFUL?

People like you amaze me. You don't believe in the Bible yet you quote it. You don't believe in God yet you are bent on disproving Him to us. Get this through your skull, I don't believe, I know. In your first reference, how do you know the "works" Jesus refers to are moving mountains? ..."even if I can move mountains and don't have love, I have nothing". Plus I think doctors routinely "heal the sick". How you make the connection of Jesus being a false prophet by the Deut. quote is just ridiculous. You have no understanding of the Trinity (God, the father, Jesus, the son, the Holy Spirit)) so don't spout off about what you have never studied. It just serves to highlight your ignorance. What else you got?

You are extremely misinformed!
The book of Mark talks about when Jesus was still a man, in flesh.. he speaks from that perspective. He and the father are not yet ONE!!! That does not happen until after his resserrection. After Jesus resserrected he and the father became ONE God... read all about it... its in the text! Therefore when you worship Jesus Christ, you are worshipping God!
Deuteronomy is an old testament book... before the birth of Jesus! Read a couple of books later in Isaiah and you will read what it says about the coming of the Messiah and what his name will be... "Mighty God" "Everlasting Father" "Prince of Peace." Isaiah will prepare you for Jesus' coming and his purpose and his identity... but you have to read!!!

I do also believe that you are missing the point.
1. The ability to move mountains. The most powerful thing on this planet is faith...It can move mountains and heal the sick. Look beyond the literal.
2. They were not referring to JC here.

In Christianity, the doctrine of the Trinity states that God is one being who exists, simultaneously and eternally, as a mutual indwelling of three persons: the Father, the Son (incarnate as Jesus of Nazareth), and the Holy Spirit. Since the 4th century, in both Eastern and Western Christianity, this doctrine has been stated as "one God in three persons," all three of whom, as distinct and co-eternal persons, are of one indivisible Divine essence, a simple being. Supporting the doctrine of the Trinity is known as Trinitarianism. The majority of Christians are Trinitarian. Therefore, we are worshiping one God!!

Jesus was not a false prophet...he too said worship only God. When Jesus was called good...he said call no one good but God.
Jesus constantly pointed to God...not himself.
