I got my lower wisdom and 2nd molar pulled 2 weeks ago, after a small bought of dry socket it was starting to feel better, so now i have three spots where im guess bone fragments are trying to come through places in my gums! This hurts. Is there anyway to ease the pain or do i need the dentist to remove the bone?

Really not much that can be done. They're like splinters that will need to work their way out on their own. All your dentist will be able to do is get you numb and dig them out which would just get the site all irritated again.

I doubt it is the bone. When I had my wisdom teeth removed I had what felt and looked like a piece of bone sticking out of my gums and caused a lot of irritation. It turned out to be a really small piece of the tooth still in there. A quick 5 minutes later it was out and it healed completely in about 2 days. Go to your dentist and have them check it for you. You'll feel better after!

You really need to go back to the dentist and have him remove the bone. Otherwise it will be an irritant and could possibly become infected. Don't let it go! The longer you let it fester the worse the pain becomes. I should know, I had the same thing happen to me.

IF they are truly pieces of bone sticking up, you should go back to your dentist and have them removed. If you don't, they will continue to irritate the tissue and it will not heal.
