he took me to a movie and bought like hardely any pop corn and a small soda for us to share...and he never looked at me...

maybe he didnt have much money, and he was too in to the film,
why would he take you out if he dont really like you, unless you forced him?

or maybe he thought he shouldnt be there with you.
