I've recentley just realised that as a child I spent (a bit) of time going to church with my mom. My life nowadays is pretty good, but I just Don't see any return on my investment of time. Could someone high up in the church, A manager or equivalent give me something for this?

Part of your reward is happening right now! You have a good life you said. Experience it with a love for God in your heart and you will see even greater things happen!

You are the light that gives light to the world. A city that is built on a hill cannot be hidden, and people don't hide a light under a bowl. They put if on a lampstand so the light shines for all the people in the house. In the same way, you should be a light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and will praise your Father in heaven.~Mathew 5:14-16 New Century Version.

By doing things out of your love for God, and showing others that you love Him can be a great ministry. But you have to get out there and do it. God loves you, show some love back. Pray, He will guide you.

First of all, your question tells me that your only loyalty is to yourself, and if you believe otherwise you are deceived.

Second, if you ever repented of your sins and exercised true faith in what Christ did for you on Calvary you have already been rewarded far above what you deserve as a sinner.

Third, you are still alive and your "life nowadays is pretty good", whatever that means. So you are living a much better life than millions who are starving and dying in third world countries and are unthankful and greedy to want more.

Fourth, real Christians don't live for gratuities or favors or rewards in this life because they want to honor and glorify God far more than they want anything else on earth. The Lord has, however promised benefits for Christians that are "Out of This World!"

Finally, my guess is that you are not right with God and need to repent and let Him change you into the kind of person who can love and appreciate Him for what He has done for you already. When that happens you will invest the remainder of your life loving Him above all else and being more concerned for others than you are for yourself!

If you are looking for some kind of earthly payback, then you are looking in the wrong direction. Jesus said that those who are seen by men have their reward on earth and lose it in heaven. You need an attitude of gratitude. Be grateful for what you do have. You admit that your life is pretty good. That should be return enough on your "investment". If you would seek more blessings from God, then you must be obedient to the teachings and commandments. One of those is the law of tithing. In Malachi, God rebukes Israel for failure to pay tithes and then challenges them to test God. "Prove me now herewith sayeth the Lord if I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it." This is in regards to bringing all the tithes into the storehouse of the Lord. However, even then you needn't suppose that your blessing will be a monetary return. God uses physical things as symbols of spiritual things. Therefore, the blessing that He pours out may be a spiritual blessing more than a physical one. From my own experience, I have never lack for the basic necessities. I have paid tithing faithfully all my life. My wife and I have been as faithful as we can be to the Church and its precepts all of our lives. We are not affluent by any means but we have six good children, four grandchildren and our needs have always been met. What more could I ask of God than that?
Gratitude goes a long ways.

The wonderful thing about God is that he is there to help and guide you at all times. A good example of this is the Poem "Footprints In The Sand" by Mary Stevenson. We live with faith. The belief that a higher power is watching over us. Just because you have a set back or a trial, you can not feel as though God isn't there. It is those trials and setbacks that help us grow in our faith. It is when you are not looking or least expecting a "sign" that you will be graced by Gods power.
Give yourself the opportunity to reflect on all your set backs or trials and see how they play a part in your life now. Have they created a positive now?
Remember that faith is believing in something that you can not see. Although is is certainly there.

Well, God has given you blessing in return. You may just have not of realized it. It say's in the Bible "All Good things come from the Lord." So if you say that you have a good life then thank God for it. HE is the one that gave it to you. God only does Good. If any harm or sickness comes to you it is not God! It is the devils attack and you need to believe in God that he will heal you. But also God doesn't always answer our prayers the way we want Him to. He could say no to you, when you ask Him for something. But he only turns away your request for something when He thinks that it is not the right timing, or because it may bring harm rather then good to you or other people!!!! Also, when you ask God for something you have to have Faith and belief, you can’t just say can I have this and then expect God NOT to do anything. Because then He won't, because you didn't have faith!!!!! So count your blessings! You live in a house don't you? Thank Him for it; He is the one who gave it to you! Also, consider tithing If you don't. You hold back your own blessings when you don't tithe! You are to give God 10% of all your income. You would never ask this question if you really are a born again Christian- God does not need us, but He chose us to be saved through His Son Jesus. Just knowing Jesus is a reward. When you are truly living for the Lord- you will not desire anything else in return because He has already given His all.

Ok here is a little story. I am not religious at all. but here goes
There is this guy that is dying and as he is dying he starts to go to heaven. Well when he gets to the gates he is greated by god. God says its not your time to go just yet. Well why he is there he asks why do you put so much stuff on my back so much. Well god says before i send you back pick up a new backpack and you can go back. well the first one he picks up is to light. So he gets another one and its to heavy. So he picks up a third and its just right. So he goes up to god and says i am ready to go back. god asks so you have a new backpack? The guy says yes. Then he asks what was wrong with the other two? He says one was to heavy and one was to light and this one fits just fine. Well god says that is the one your orginaly had. I would never put to much on someones back I know they can not handle.
the point is the more stuff that you have on your back , its because god knows that you can handle it.

Only thing u'll get from the church is a hand job and maybe they'll let u swing the smokey lantern thing this Sunday, but if u want rewards u in it for the wrong ones

For loyalty, we don't earn like holy points that we can one day cash in for a new refrigerator.. u get love & a spot at the top when u dirt nappy time

For now, accept u in the devil's playground an He got hands over u, protecting, an try to make the best of it

No one deserves anything from God – therefore no one can object if they do not receive anything from God. An illustration would be me handing out money to 5 people in a crowd of 20. Would the 15 people who did not receive money be upset? Probably so. Do they have a right to be upset? No they do not. Why? Because I did not owe anyone any money. I simply decided to be gracious to some.

Loyalty is in the heart not in attendance at church. If your life is pretty good then that is how you are rewarded. God gives you everything you have.
